Saturday, 11 July 2009- The Third Annual Pilot Appreciation Day
I spent nearly the whole day wishing twitter and Facebook pilots a happy “Pilot Appreciation Day”. I was disappointed with my uninteractive delivery of the greetings which stemmed from my lack of being online continually. In addition to that, I was still mourning the death of a three year old dream that I recently buried six feet under. I received some positive feedback from some of the pilots, so the third annual Pilot Appreciation Day wasn’t a complete disaster.

I am sad I lost 2 months of Status Update. Well, here I go again:
June 24
6:26pm Julie's 7 hour Taco Bell shift turned into 12 hours including 3 overtime, but she got a free Gordita Crunch when all was said and done.

11:07am Julie has been to the fireworks at the Washington monument and then washed the Vietnam Wall and visited the Air and Space Museum with Lt. Cauthen and the CAP cadets.
6:52pm Julie is going to an O's game tomorrow with many of her friends in the Germantown area!

5:44pm Julie admits she is slightly jealous that Matthew was a passenger in a plane that ran out of fuel while it was still in the air. She is very glad he's ok though.

1:58pm Julie made it to the CU to late and it was closed. Now she is going to work on Civil Air Patrol Administrative stuff.

3:02pm Julie is taking the crew shuttle to the library so she can create a smoking hot resume that will get her a flight attendant position with SkyWest Airlines.
11:16pm Julie is wondering how three planes could collide on a Florida runway.

4:31pm Julie is indulging herself with a medium rare Filet Mignon meal at NASCAR Cafe at half price. Then she's going to Mardi Gras at Universal!
5:53pm Julie is laughing her head off watching Space Balls the Movie in the crew room at Universal. There's, like, many episodes of this right? Can you say hooked?
6:25pm Julie is entering the gates of Universal for MARDI GRAS!

6:24pm Julie is now finished with the American Gladiators tryouts! She did chin ups, 10 burpees, a shuttle run, and a relay called Suicide. What a workout!
